W.J. Mouat Secondary has a longstanding history of excellence in music. Our concert bands, jazz ensembles, and choir are home to hardworking students who seek to further their musical development and challenge themselves in new ways.
District No. 34’s annual high school band night featuring concert bands from high schools around Abbotsford. Both our Band 9 and Senior Band will join together to perform. There is usually a small admission fee ($2.00 is typical). Located at the Abbotsford Arts Centre.
Our seasonal winter concert featuring all ensembles at Mouat. Located in the school gym. Admission by donation.
District No. 34’s annual choir festival featuring choirs from around Abbotsford schools. Our choir will attending during the school day for participation and adjudication. Our exact day and time are to be determined.
District No. 34’s annual jazz band day featuring jazz bands from around Abbotsford schools. Both our junior and senior jazz bands will attend for adjudication with our senior jazz band participating in the evening performance. Exact times are to be determined.

Mouat’s annual Cafe Jazz event featuring both jazz bands. Admission will be $10 per person to help cover the cost of materials and desserts. Located in the school cafeteria.
